"Wake up, Sam." Sarah purred. "We gotta get going soon. I made breakfast come and eat and let's get on the road."
So much for a lazy Good Friday. I was lost in Sarah's eyes when she told me we'd be going to her folk's house in Scranton for Easter and we'd be leaving today. For some strange reason I thought we were going on Sunday morning. I felt like I weighed a ton when I dragged myself out of her plush bed in her Centreville apartment. A stack of pancakes the size of my head awaited me in her kitchen. It had friends, bacon, sausage and a banana and a tall glass of chocolate milk. I kissed her good morning and thanked her for bein
We planned our first date for the following Friday night. By the time our date arrived we felt silly for calling it the first one because we went to lunch every day except Wednesday when she went out with Lori and Amy. Even so, I was still nervous driving out to meet her. I pulled into the packed parking lot of a place called Coastal Flats after driving around the parking area a few times I finally found an opening. However, she was currently drunk, and Andy had noticed that she was on her 4th visit to the snack table. To call it a snack table was certainly a misnomer: there was pizza, chicken wings, several gallons of soda, eight different types of booze, and two giga
"Okay, girls, come here, we're gonna watch one of my favorites!" Kristi yelled, flopping down on the couch rather forcefully, yet still managing to balance her plate, laden with three over-sized slices of pizza. Marcy and Tiffany bolted into the room, jumping onto the couch next to Kristi, yet failing to topple the pizza off the plate. It had been exactly one month since Kristi had begun babysitting the girls, and they were closer than ever. As of lately, they had been more inquisitive to Kristi's tastes, so, as any responsible babysitter would do, Kristi was introducing them to the world of 90's/80's children films. Tonight's selection w
